PLATFORM

Platform is a non-profit voluntary group of Bangladeshi doctors, medical and dental students, working to preserve doctors right and help them about career and other sectors by bringing out the positives, prospects & opportunities regarding health sector. It is a voluntary effort to build a positive Bangladesh by improving our health sector and motivating the doctors through positive thinking and doing. Platform started its journey on September 26, 2013.

World Rabies Day 2018 organized by DGHS & Platform

World Rabies Day Event: Awareness programme was jointly organized by CDC, DGHS & Platform, in 40 Medical & Dental college & one private university from 28th september, 2018 to 4th October, 2018. Rally, Seminar & Outdoor awareness events are successfully conducted by activists of Platform.

7th Platform Career Seminar has organized in President Abdul Hamid Medical College

7th Platform Career Seminar: The Career Seminar has organized in President Abdul Hamid Medical College, Kishoreganj on 26th september, 2018. On that programme, Chief guest was, First Lady of Republic of Bangladesh, Honourable, Mrs. Rashida Hamid.

5th Anniversary Celebration of Platform

Platform has started it’s journey from 27th september, 2013. The platform has been successfully running for six years after five years of active participation of doctors, medical & dental students. On the occasion of 5th anniversary of platform, at 14th september, 2018, Platform has celebrated it’s 5th anniversary which event has organized in Conference room of institute of public health, Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Directorate General of Health Services, Prof. Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, ADG Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, National Consultant of Unicef Prof. Dr. Benazir Ahmed, Programme Manager of NCDC, DGHS, Prof. Dr. Rizwanul karim Shamim, Former faculty, Department of Physiology, Dr. Md. Shah Alam, Deputy Director, DGHS, Dr. Amiruzzaman have joined the programme &  has given their valuable time & speech in the event.

 

 

August 28, 2018

6th Platform UK Medical Career Seminar was organized by Platform

On 27, August, 2018, 6th Platform UK Medical Career Seminar was held in Bishwa Sahitto Kendro (2nd floor), Dhaka.

On that event, Key Speaker was Dr. Mahibur Rahman (MB BCh in Medicine, MRCGP, MSc in Health Informatics) who is also a director of Emedica & Editor of www.gptraining.info. He is also a renowned general practitioner in UK. Besides, He is author of Many books, written & focused on General Practitioner & MRCGP.

Seminar was started at 4.00 PM by presenting Platform timeline from the very beginning. This presentation was done by Dr. Ahmedul Haque Kiron, who is a founder of Platform.

 

At 4.15 PM the key speaker Dr. Mahibur Rahman has started his presentation focused on ‘Career in UK’ & Showed full guideline in step by step, how to get job in UK. He has also focused on PLAB, MRCP, MRCGP & their procedures. He has tried to motivate participants, through his presentation.

After the session, on behalf of platform, Dr. Niloy Shuvo, who is president of central executive committee, 2018-19, along with Fariz Sheikh, General Secretary of Platform, has gave the crest to key speaker Dr. Mahibur Rahman.
